Bravo just released the trailer for Season 10 of Southern Charm, and it is a doozy! The gang is back, and their lives are changing in ways fans didn’t see coming. Craig Conover is moving away from his friendship with Austen Kroll, and Shep Rose might just be in love. But along with the OGs, there are a few new faces who are looking to make their mark. One fresh face is Salley Carson, who fans have already seen on reality TV once or twice. Here’s everything to know about the newest Charleston blonde.

Salley Carson has been on reality TV before

Bravo viewers might think that Salley looks a bit familiar. And that is because she does. Most recently, she was on Southern Hospitality as the vixen. Salley joined Season 2 but quickly made waves after hitting it off with VIP host Joe Bradley. Fans watched as Salley crossed a major line and lied about it. While getting to know Joe, she hooked up with Gaston, TJ Dinch’s roommate. Currently, Gaston is dating Southern Charm’s Taylor Ann Green, so this love triangle might get a bit messy. Joe was peeved telling Salley at the time, “You went to Gaston’s house and made out with him right before our date. That’s like a f*cking serial killer move. That’s just weird. It makes me sick.”

Before making her debut on Bravo, Salley found herself as one of the 32 women on The Bachelor. She appeared in Season 26 but didn’t last long. Right before the limo was supposed to arrive, she chose to drop out of the competition. It turns out the arrival took place the same weekend she was supposed to get married. At the time, she told producers, “My heart is just not in the place where I can do this. And I feel so bad about that. My heart is just not ready.” It all just hit too close to home for the pretty face.

What does Salley Carson do for work?

She is the real Meredith Grey, not only looking for her McDreamy but also working in a hospital setting. According to LinkedIn, Salley works as a Hybrid Robotic and Core Spine Representative. The newest charmer works for Medtronic Spine & Biologics, a global healthcare technology leader that provides educational resources and surgical technologies for spine care. Her resume boasts that she also worked as a clinical specialist and trained for medical sales in Colorado.

Before joining Southern Charm, Salley attended the University of South Carolina, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in 2017. She then attended Medical Sales College in 2017. It was there she learned how to provide world-class medical device education. As a graduate, she was more employable and had already achieved higher success. She is currently based in Charleston, but it is unclear whether she has taken a hiatus from work to be cast in Southern Charm. But I like how fans will be given more than just a pretty face this season.

Salley Carson’s big debut will be interesting

Salley might not be as single as she likes to come across. Eagle eye scouts like myself have noticed she often posts a lot of content with Andrew Dietz, who is a personal trainer. In February 2024, Salley posted a birthday shout, sharing she was “Very lucky to have a friend like you in my life.” But it’s fair to assume the men of Southern Charm, at least the single ones, will try to win her over.

Her Bravo bio notes that Salley was “Born and raised in Greenville, SC, Salley grew up with strong Southern roots, taking cotillion and coming out as a debutante as a teenager,” the bio reads. The newest Bravoleb has a history as “Salley moved to Charleston a few years ago after landing an impressive job in spinal robotics. Her goal is to be married and have a family, but for now, she is a bubbly party girl who dotes on her adorable puppy, Boots, after a long day working at the hospital.” Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Salley is the breath of fresh air the series needs.
