Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County gave us a messy feud between Shannon Beador and Alexis Bellino. As you may already know, Alexis is now engaged to John Janssen. And once upon a time, John was Shannon’s boyfriend. Plus, John is suing Shannon for $75,000 which he claims he gave her as a loan. As you can imagine, Shannon wasn’t pleased, and she directed some of the blame at Alexis.
Shannon Beador is done working with Alexis Bellino
Recently, Shannon shared her feelings about working with Alexis again. “If everyone wants to bring Alexis back, then have a nice time with her because I’m not filming with her ever again,” Shannon stated. “I’m not gonna put myself through that again.” During the Season 18 reunion, Alexis channeled John constantly.
When asked about not filming with Alexis, Shannon clarified her stance. “I’ve never said I’m not coming back. I might have done that in my third or fourth year and I’ve never done it since,” Shannon told US Weekly. “I’m grateful for the job. I am.” She added, “Oh, absolutely I am [returning]. I’d be grateful to come back.”
However, Shannon is sticking to her guns about Alexis. “But if Alexis Bellino comes back, sorry, not gonna be around [her],” she stated. Apparently, Shannon isn’t the only cast member who isn’t feeling Alexis. Emily Simpson thought that the way that Alexis “brought receipts to dinner” ahead of John’s lawsuit against Shannon “all seemed so premeditated and planned out and methodical.”
Meanwhile, Gina Kirschenheiter said, “I never really liked John. I know Alexis likes to defend him, but my issues with John were not just stemming from things that Shannon said.” Gina added, “She likes to make it like, ‘Oh, it was just things that Shannon was saying about John’ and that’s not true.”
Of course, it was clear that Shannon and Alexis were never going to be friends on RHOC. However, Shannon might owe a “thank you” to Alexis for taking the spotlight off Shannon’s DUI.
