Teddi Mellencamp Posts About ‘Mistakes’ Amid Affair Scandal: ‘It’s Okay Not To Be Okay’

Teddi Mellencamp can’t seem to decide how public she wants to be amid her cheating scandal. Either way, she’s in a bit of a lose-lose situation. But ignoring it certainly isn’t ideal.

For those who didn’t hear, amid Teddi’s divorce, news broke that she cheated on her husband with her horse trainer. Initially, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star didn’t have a thing to say. Soon enough, she posted on Instagram, but merely wrote, “When you’re being pushed into the shadows always find your light.”

Unsurprisingly, comments on the post were turned off. Eventually, she made a public statement. “What I can say … there’s multiple sides to every story,” she said on her podcast. “I’m not going to confirm or deny anything.” But she doesn’t mind taking advantage of the publicity.

Teddi Mellencamp promotes her accountability coaching amid scandal

Despite her initial silence, Teddi has been extremely active on Instagram (doing self-promotion). In an Instagram post on November 18, Teddi showed a picture of some green juice and wrote, “It’s okay not to be okay.” She further wrote, “We are humans. We make mistakes. We have highs and lows but it’s one foot in front of the other. It’s Monday morning.”

She thanked her All In accountability coaching team for helping her keep up her morning routines. She then posted a clip on the treadmill, writing, “Needed this run.” On November 19, Teddi engaged in more promo. She posted a video of herself on her bike and wrote, “We are all worth fighting to be our best selves,” and tagged @goallinbyteddi once again.

She also posted a video of her cold plunge at 42 degrees. So, Teddi clearly has no plans to lay off socials, even though she obviously doesn’t want to address things. On November 17, Teddi posted a picture with her two kids. Notably, the post’s comments reflected full-blown love and support. As one user theorized, “Someone working overtime to delete negative comments.”

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 premieres tonight, November 19, at 8/7c on Bravo.
