The hit Bravo series Married to Medicine will be back on fans’ small screens in no time. Since 2013, the doctors and spouses have been delivering entertainment. The Atlanta-based show has done a great job of incorporating the world of medicine while adding a bit of drama in for good measure. While most episodes are hits, there have been some moments that have stood out above the rest and really resonated with viewers.

The Married to Medicine ladies know how to throw down

As Eugene Harris once noted, “Not all these women are meant to be the best of friends.” And nothing proved that point more than the fight between his wife, Toya Bush-Harris, and Mariah Huq. The two women had fought all season, and they came to a head at a lovely pool party. Toya was messy as she revealed a secret about Mariah’s past that left her seeing red. Mariah noted, “I look way too pretty to talk to you,” and then placed her hands on Toya.

Naturally, Toya took that as an act of war. It was hard to see what was actually happening, but the two women had locked heads and weren’t backing down. Quad Webb made a dramatic entrance to try and pull them apart, and Mariah’s purse was tossed in the pool as a consolation prize.  As Simone Whitmore so eloquently put it, “Two b*tches fighting in ball gowns.” Even though the scene was rough to watch, it landed Married to Medicine on the map.

Jackie Walter’s cheating scandal

Nothing broke fans’ hearts more than finding out that Jackie Walters’ husband, Curtis Berry, had stepped out on his hardworking wife. News of the infidelity shocked the entire group, as the pair always came across as rock solid. Thus, all the wives and husbands were forced to choose a side. During Season 5, Jackie threw everyone by telling the women she would stay in her marriage.

Jackie tearfully shared, “However, watching the one man I knew loved me unconditionally. To have made the decision that he made and the way I found out about it was crushing. It was humiliating. There were so many emotions I went through, but the one thing I learned from all this was you don’t stop loving the person.” The episode showed an immense amount of empathy and resonated with many viewers.

Quad Webb confronts her husband on the Married to Medicine reunion

The Season 6 reunion was a nail-biter for fans. The couple revealed some shocking details about their marriage, which wasn’t for the faint of heart. While privately talking to Andy Cohen, Dr. Gregory noted, “You pulled a knife on me.” But Quad wasn’t taking the blame as she shared, “You slammed me to the ground.” The divorce had turned nasty, especially after Dr. Gregory Lunceford was accused of cheating.

The season was unpleasant for the couple, who were filmed fighting multiple times. During her interview, she shared, “You tore the TV off the wall, took the battery out of my car one time, drug me through the house, you ruined my knee. You put your hand over my nose and mouth one time, trying to suffocate me.” At one point, Quad had run backstage, telling the women, “We are not meant to be.”

Heavenly Kimes leaves her own intervention

Dr. Heavenly Kimes has been an extremely polarizing force on Married to Medicine. The dentist alienated almost all of her friends with her non-stop badgering and speaking out on podcasts. The girls were invited over to Dr. Contessa Metcalfe’s house under the ruse of a movie night. But Contessa noted, “Tonight is an intervention for Heavenly’s channel.” As the women tried to air their grievances, Heavenly became increasingly upset. It probably didn’t help that Contessa was wearing one of her wigs in a show of faux support. Heavenly didn’t understand that her YouTube channel was an ambush on all of her friends, and instead of hearing them out, she stormed out.

In her confessional, Heavenly shared, “I’ve never experienced this before — ever. I am so hurt.” Even Contessa seemed surprised that her setup didn’t work, adding, “I had high hopes that Heavenly would say ‘I’m sorry.’ That’s it. But for her to laugh in our faces and to completely take zero responsibility, you ain’t at all what I thought you were.” I’m sure Season 11 will bring even more fan-favorite moments.

Married to Medicine is streaming on Peacock.
