Kyle Richards set the record straight when it came to rumors about her and Kevin Costner. And the reality is that there is no truth to Sutton Stracke’s claim that Kyle tried to hook up with the Yellowstone star. At least according to Kyle herself.
Not that it would have been a bad thing, clarified the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. However, it just didn’t happen.
Kyle Richards refutes Kevin Costner hook-up rumors
The rumor began when Sutton, fresh off the Season 14 premiere of RHOBH, went on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show. She claimed that Kyle tried to shoot her shot with the famous television cowboy.
“Kyle and I had this conversation,” Sutton said. “She was in Aspen and Kevin Costner was there, and she was like, trying to hook up with Kevin Costner. She really was. I was like, wait a minute!”
Considering Sutton’s ability to tease her castmates, it’s probably best to take her statement with a grain of salt. However, can anyone blame Kyle if it was true? I mean, Kevin Costner is looking mighty fine as John Dutton.
However, Kyle put the rumors to rest as quickly as they started. She spoke with TMZ at the airport insisting there was zero truth to what Sutton said.
“That is definitely not true,” Kyle said. “I think she was just joking. Kevin lives in Aspen. I have a home in Aspen, too. I’ve only met him two times and talked to him maybe one minute. That’s the max. That’s it. That is the end of the story.”
Kyle admitted that she was a fan of Yellowstone and that Kevin is indeed an attractive man. However, she maintained that it must have been a joke as there is nothing more to the story.
