While the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast mourned the death of their show, Ariana Madix was lip-syncing for her life during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She gave us something to be thankful for.
In case you missed it, Ariana appeared in the parade while riding on the Peacock float, which just goes to show how much star power she still has at NBCUniversal. They picked her to represent the official streaming platform of the entire parade. That’s a big deal.
Ariana Madix slayed the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
During Ariana’s spotlight moment, she performed Lovefool by The Cardigans — an appropriate choice for the host of Love Island USA who got catapulted to stardom after a cheating scandal.
Although the parade looked absolutely miserable with cold rain pouring over New York City, Ariana looked dazzling in an all-white outfit with sheer white gloves and diamond earrings. She didn’t even look phased by the weather. She survived Scandoval. What’s a little bit of cold rain?
Of course, the Macy’s parade is notorious for its lack of live vocals, but Ariana still nailed her performance. Her track sounded wonderful, and if you ever questioned why she got cast as Roxie Hart in Chicago, she just proved it. The girl can sing.
Ariana’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade performance just two days after VPR’s Season 12 reboot was announced. It felt like a perfect little ending to this saga and yet another example that Ariana will be just fine without Pump Rules. In an emotional Instagram post, she bid farewell to the show that got her to this point.
“I can’t thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all,” she wrote on Instagram. “Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules.”
