If you had a ticket for Margaret Josephs and Dorinda Medley’s live show in New York City, keep your eyes peeled for a refund. The two Real Housewives stars just got into a weird spat during a recent episode of Jeff Lewis Live, and it seemingly caused them to cancel their show.
The two East Coast Housewives have been bringing their Blonde Ambition show to a few cities around the United States. However, their final show scheduled in New York City got axed. Let’s blame it on Jeff Lewis.
She’s startin’
Anytime you put two Real Housewives in a room together, sparks are bound to fly. When you put them in a room with Jeff? That’s a recipe for a mess, which is exactly why SiriusXM recently expanded Jeff Lewis Live to an hour and extended his contract. He knows how to get the Housewives activated.
Earlier this month, Dorinda and Marge were on the air talking about their final tour date at City Winery New York City. When Jeff asked who would be moderating the show, things got dicey.
Apparently, moderator duties were being split between podcaster Peter Panos and People’s Dave Quinn. Jeff asked who was better, and then all hell broke loose. Dorinda insisted that they were both “great,” but Margaret told the truth.
“Dorinda doesn’t love them both,” Margaret teased, which clearly upset Dorinda. She replied, “Well, thanks for speaking for me.”
“Margaret told me she doesn’t love them both,” Dorinda continued. “We can play Housewives here.”
Marge and Dorinda bickered their way out of a gig
Once these ladies got activated, there was no holding them back. Margaret accused Dorinda of yelling at Dave during a show because he couldn’t keep the audience engaged.
That kind of outburst seems pretty on-brand for Dorinda, but she insisted that she didn’t “yell,” Either way, you could tell Dorinda didn’t want all of that information aired out, so she started working overtime to try to get back at Marge.
“I’ve done a lot of these, so I know when I’m losing the audience,” Dorinda insisted.
The radio show went to a commercial break, but the cameras inside the studio kept rolling. That’s when Dorinda really let it rip. She was not happy with Marge.
“Just do me a favor. Don’t speak for me. Don’t speak for me,” Dorinda repeatedly warned Marge.
The bickering continued as Jeff tried to regain control of the room. However, the damage was done. The show was canceled shortly after the fight. City Winery booked another event in its place, and the tour concluded after only three shows. Rest in peace, Blonde Ambition Tour.
Fortunately, Bravo fans in NYC have another option at City Winery on December 2. Brittany Cartwright managed to snatch up the canceled date and will be hosting a live version of her podcast instead.
