Lala Kent wears a lot of hats. She’s a reality TV star, a podcast host, an entrepreneur, and above all, a mom. The former Vanderpump Rules star has shared her love of motherhood before, and how seriously she takes it. So when comments started about her elder daughter Ocean’s teeth, the Pump Rules alum just had to respond.
Lala shares her three-year-old with former fiance, Randall Emmett. Her younger daughter, Sosa, was born via intrauterine insemination, in September of this year. The girls often appear on the podcast host’s social media. And Lala was recently called out for editing Ocean’s photo.
Lala Kent could not let the comments about Ocean’s teeth “slide”
Lala revealed that there was more to the story than meets the eye. She responded to the comments about Ocean’s teeth via Instagram video on November 30.
“I’m usually the type to not read/ignore comments. But we are from Utah honey. We are teeth people! so I could not let this comment slide,” Lala captioned the video.
The former VPR star revealed that her dare-devil daughter had an accident and busted her front teeth. Specifically, there was “trauma” at “the root of her two front teeth.”
“Ocean has a fond relationship with her wild side and enjoys not listening. She fell off her bike face first,” she explained.
“Yes, I’m the mom who usually edits this. Go ahead and judge,” Lala challenged. “The root isn’t dead, but we go to the dentist every 3-6 months for check-ins. They will likely have to be pulled or she will have to have a root canal.”
Despite the painful prognosis, Ocean is looking on the bright side of the experience. She finds her teeth “cool” looking.
Meanwhile, the mother-of-two may be considering having another child. Lala said during her March episode of Give Them Lala that she could “always go for round three” as she has “a lot of sperm leftover” from the donor she chose.
Vanderpump Rules is currently between seasons. Bravo executives decided to revamp it with a whole new cast.
