Here’s Why Khloe Kardashian Stopped Going to Therapy

In a recent interview, Khloe Kardashian got candid about her not-so-pleasant experience with therapy and how it led to the beginning of her weight loss journey. “The Kardashians” star revealed it all began when she was going through her divorce, but her therapist unfortunately disclosed some of her private information to a tabloid. This experience led to Kardashian not trusting anyone with her secrets, leading to her working out in the gym in hopes of finding a release.

Khloe Kardashian’s first experience with therapy wasn’t as beneficial as she had hoped it would be. The “jarring” experience was indeed what led her to hit the gym, which marked the beginning of her weight loss journey. The star recently opened up to Bustle, talking about her “sort of unbelievable” story with a therapist.

It all began when she was in the middle of her divorce from her ex-husband, Lamar Odom. Kardashian sought therapy to help deal with everything happening in her life. However, one day, she woke up to her private information being in a tabloid. She hadn’t shared this with anybody else, so the star was certain her therapist had revealed the information to the media.

Khloe Kardashian stopped going to therapy afterward and instead sought solace in the gym, which is what led to her weight loss. She needed a safe space to vent and working out delivered just that. She told the outlet, “I needed a release, but I did not trust anybody else anymore.” Moreover, she felt her “safest” at the gym.

Kardashian naturally started losing weight, with her body toning up due to all the exercise. In addition, she loved the result and how working out made her feel. She told the magazine, “I loved testing myself and challenging myself.”
