It’s been revealed by other Summer House cast members that Jesse Solomon brought the most drama in Season 9. He went from a bit of a peripheral star, often leaving to go on dates or a different party, to a main attraction in the group.
This season, Jesse is more focused on the friendships within the group. Perhaps that dynamic is leading to all of the drama. He’s also dating hard again. And the reality TV star had to consider how it would all playback.
Jesse Solomon took the “seasoned” approach this time around
“The first summer I went into it not knowing anything. I just wanted to make friends with everyone and have a good time,” Jesse exclusively reflected to Us Weekly. “I realized not everybody always wants to be best friends and always have a good time.”
“This summer I went into it with a bit more seasoned [approach],” he continued, “I was open to dating, I think more so this summer. Whereas the first summer I was just trying to be friends with everyone.” He added with a laugh, “So that should be fun to watch back, huh?”
It seems that there will be some cast hookups then. That’s interesting considering that Jesse flirted with Paige DeSorbo in Season 8, She is in a relationship with Craig Conover. So perhaps no one is off-limits.
Reflecting on his freshman season, Jesse’s worst action was edited out. That lack of backstory didn’t seem to have an impact on how Jesse was treated by his costars.
“I would say the worst thing I did [in season 8], they didn’t even show,” he shared. “I went to a party with everybody the first night and kind of just wandered off on my own at the party and everybody hated me for the first three weeks, but they kind of gave me a pass on that one.”
Despite the implications, Jesse is a gentleman. He did not share any details with the news publication.
“I’m dating,” he stated. “You’ll definitely have to check out Summer House to figure out my relationship status.”
Whatever did happen, Jesse teased that he’s “not perfect, and sometimes I have a little too much fun.” He also told Us Weekly that he “let it fly” over the summer.
The Bravolebrity has a lot of family support that keeps him grounded. Ultimately, their opinion of him is all he cares about.
“I’m not worried about what anybody thinks of me besides my mother and my dear grandmother,” Jesse shared. “So as long as they still love me, I really don’t give a rat’s [ass] what anybody else thinks.”
He added, “I told [grandma] to take maybe a little break on some of [my] season 2. She says she turns the volume down when it’s not a scene with me in it because she’s typically watching Hallmark. Summer House is a bit aggressive for her, so she’ll be OK. She’ll love me no matter what.”
Summer House can be streamed on Peacock.
