Get ready for another Selling Sunset spinoff! Netflix just dropped the trailer for Selling the City, and they’re bringing the real estate drama to the Big Apple.
Now, we know there are a million and one real estate shows, including Ryan Serhant’s New York-based show, Owning Manhattan. Still, this trailer looks like it’s giving us something fresh with plenty of drama and a familiar face from the reality TV real estate world.
Check out the first look below! There’s even a familiar face for long-time Bravo fans…
Selling the City is coming soon, and the trailer promises plenty of drama
Selling the City is the third spinoff of Selling Sunset, and we’re hopeful that it will last longer than Selling Tampa. The trailer introduced us to Eleonora Srugo and her team of agents taking over New York City.
“I am a top real estate broker at Douglas Elliman, and I just had one of the biggest years of my career,” Eleonora explained in the preview. “Now, I’m starting my own team.”
In an interview with Netflix’s Tudum, Eleonora said she got support from the Selling Sunset bosses, Jason and Brett Oppenheim. However, she explained that this spinoff would be much different from the other Netflix real estate shows.
“I have a lot of respect for those guys and what they’ve built,” she explained. “But this is a little different. We’re a little grittier, and a woman is leading the team. The city also takes everything to another level. There’s a really high barrier to entry in this market, and it makes it extraordinarily competitive.”
Eleonora’s team consists of Jordyn Taylor, Gisselle Meneses Nunez, Jade Chen, Abigail Godfrey, Justin Tuinstra, Taylor Middleton, and wait for it — Steve Gold! The Million Dollar Listing New York alum is making his big return to reality TV. Welcome back to our screens, Steve.
Although Steve is used to reality TV cameras, the rest of the crew are new to this world. The trailer shows one of them cracking under the pressure. At one point, one of the agents is already threatening to sue the show. It’s the type of mess that we love to see.
“If any of this sh*t airs, I will sue every single one of your asses,” Jade warned in the trailer.
So, this show has one of our favorite MDL alums, a fierce boss lady in charge, and an agent threatening to sue the show? We’re here for it.
Selling the City premieres on Netflix on January 3, 2025.
