This will be the first Christmas that The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor will spend apart since the start of the messy unraveling of their dysfunctional union. Their three-year-old son, Cruz, will be with Brittany that day. It looks like Jax won’t be stopping by for milk and cookies.
TMZ caught up with Brittany and asked about her and Jax’s holiday plans. She didn’t mince any words – the Vanderpump Rules alums aren’t planning to get together this Christmas, nor will they ever get back together. Like, ever.
Brittany Cartwright on Jax Taylor spending Christmas apart from her and their son: “There’s a lot going on”
On Friday, Brittany was flash-interviewed about her holiday plans as she arrived back at LAX after a trip to New York with her friend/Valley co-star, Zack Wickham, in tow.
Though she did admit that the holidays will be “tough” this year, she’s going to make it a good one for Cruz. She shared, “I make [Christmas] very special for my son. So, the whole house is decked out and I’m basically like Mrs. Claus.”
Brittany explained that she and Cruz will head to Kentucky to visit with her family. When asked if she and Jax would be spending any part of the holidays together, Brittany gave a dignified “nah.” Jax has been making moves to get joint custody.
“Not this year. Maybe in the future. We’ll see,” she began.
Brittany continued, “We’re just trying to figure things out. There’s a lot going on.”
One thing that wasn’t tough for Brittany: turning down the idea of any future hookups with Jax. Reconciliation isn’t in the cards.
“That ship has sailed,” she laughed.
Brittany also said she’s currently “very single” after a brief maybe-situationship with Jax’s friend, Julian Sensley. Their trysts have “been over for a while,” she confirmed.
In recent Jax news, he allegedly fled the scene of a car accident without exchanging information with the other driver. He and Britt have been lobbing jabs back and forth. Their co-parenting doesn’t seem to be going great. And, she’s trying to blackball him from Mamaw’s Beer Cheese. So, that does seem like a lot going on. Jax not being the Santa to Britt’s Mrs. Claus might be for the best.
Season 2 of The Valley is expected to premiere in Spring 2025.
