Bachelorette Alum Tyler Cameron ‘Got Crushed’ for Posting Personal Texts With Girlfriend

Tyler Cameron learned the hard way that he probably should keep some things to himself. The Bachelorette alum shared that he got an earful from posting screenshots of a text fight with his girlfriend Tate Madden on social media.

Not that he meant anything malicious by sharing the screenshots. In fact, he meant it as a joke and thought it was funny. However, as is the case with most private conversations being shared, not everyone was on the same page.

Sometimes screenshots should stay in the camera roll, Tyler Cameron…

Everyone loves a good screenshot or “receipts” as most people like to refer to them (I’m looking at you, Heather Gay). But while it’s always good to keep screenshots, it might be best not to share them online.

Tyler learned that lesson. “I got crushed for that (sharing screenshots online),” he told Page Six. He shared that he thought it was funny to share a good-natured argument between him and Tate with his followers.

Last month, Tyler shared a screenshot of a text conversation he had with Tate about an ice cream run he went on without her. She was not happy he went without her and he captioned the screenshot, “Don’t go on a sweet treat run without your girlfriend… lesson learned.”

In the texts, he asks Tate, “Now you’re made again?” She replied, “I just don’t understand why anything fun you do you don’t want to do with me.” He seemed confused and replied, “We’re getting ice cream, are you kidding me? This is a fun moment?”

He has since made it up to her in lots of ways, including ice cream trips. And then he thought he’d poke some lighthearted fun at their disagreement on social media. And she was not happy. Looks like he learned another lesson.

“I paid the price for it, learned my lesson,” Tyler admitted. “Some jokes should be kept inside.”

Tyler and Tate confirmed their relationship in September but dated quietly before going public. And after this, Tyler will likely keep more things private in the future.

TELL US – DO YOU THINK TYLER SHOULD NOT HAVE SHARED HIS SCREENSHOTS? IN GENERAL, SHOULD SCREENSHOTS BE KEPT PRIVATE?
