We’re finally getting closer to some answers about what’s going on with Brandi Glanville’s face, and it’s definitely not what anyone would have expected. Seriously, this is like something from a horror movie, so we’re sending her all of the positive vibes. She claims there could be a parasite causing all of her troubles.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum has been vocal about her facial disfigurement, which plenty of trolls have tried to attribute to reckless cosmetic procedures. However, Brandi has a team of doctors looking into it, and they’re confident that this isn’t because of bad filler.
Brandi Glanville versus the parasite
If there’s a creature inside of Brandi, it might be the biggest villain she’s ever faced. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she confessed that she spent over $70,000 with various doctors trying to figure out the source of her facial disfigurement. Previously, she thought it was stress-induced angioedema.
“They sent me to have my face checked — maybe old filler. So, that was all dissolved, even though I was like, ‘You’re dissolving my actual skin now because I haven’t had filler in a long time,’” Brandi recalled.
Brandi said that she’s been working with an infectious disease doctor among other medical professionals who now believe that the issues with Brandi’s face have been caused by a parasite “jumping around” inside of her.
So, where on Earth did Brandi contract a parasite that’s moving around inside of her face? Blame it on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morrocco. It’s always Bravo, Bravo, f-cking Bravo.
“We had food sitting out for hours on an end and some of it was meat,” Brandi recalled of the ill-fated production.
“Six months after I got back from Morrocco, I started having this speaking thing and swelling up thing,” she continued. “It started in July, and we’re still here trying to figure it out.”
