Southern Charm star Craig Conover hasn’t ruled out a move to New York in the future. The Charleston, South Carolina-based entrepreneur revealed that he’s open to switching up his home base as his long-distance relationship with Paige DeSorbo enters its fourth year. Break-up rumors aside.
Craig has a newly renovated home in Charleston, as well as his home goods business Sewing Down South. Paige has a well-established career in NYC as a fashion contributor, and the Summer House star has been hesitant about moving to South Carolina. And now it seems that may not need to be a consideration.
Craig Conover is also thinking about returning to college
“Honestly, I will always be a part of Charleston, but I’m starting to love this like New York energy and the challenges that come with New York, and I think I’ll be spending more time up here,” Craig exclusively told Page Six.
Craig’s business is expanding. And he isn’t glued to the brick-and-mortar store in Charleston as much as he was. Sewing Down South is well established now, and its founder is often traveling across the country for work.
“So as long as I have an airport, I can get to my meetings,” he explained. “I enjoy staying on the road, but, you know, who knows?”
There may be another draw to NYC besides Paige and the great energy. Craig is considering returning to university for a business degree. He would have his picking of schools in the Big Apple.
“Paige thinks I’m crazy, but I’m thinking about going back and getting a degree,” the Pillow Talk author shared. “I’d like to learn how to take my business to the next level. I was a finance major [in undergrad], but I don’t remember a lot of it.”
According to Craig, Paige asked him, “Why would you want to go back to school?”
Apparently, Paige is not enthralled by the idea of Craig returning to college. But the decision may influence his choice to move to NYC. Presumably, a net plus for the couple.
