Scheana Shay has quite an impressive run in Hollywood in her heyday. The Vanderpump Rules alum is known to name drop when it comes to past encounters in Hollywood, both romantic and platonic. This time, the Good As Gold singer revealed that she had a rather uneventful sleepover with Ryan Phillippe when she was in her early 20s.
The former Pump Rules star has been romantically linked to Eddie Cibrian. She also claimed to be in a throuple with John Mayer after he split from Jennifer Aniston. The Scheananigans podcast host even credited the crooner for her casting on VPR.
Now, Scheana is claiming that she had a platonic night with the Cruel Intentions star, but made sure to clarify that he was not dating Reese Witherspoon at the time.
Scheana Shay maintains that she was “just friends” with Ryan Phillippe
“He was single during the times that we were all hanging out,” Scheana said during her podcast Friday.
Her friend was dating Ryan’s roommate Jesse Bradford at the time. And Scheana found herself at their apartment often. However, they “did not hook up.”
“There was a sleepover, but we did not hook up,” she clarified. “No, we were just friends.”
Ryan and Reese began dating in 1997 and went on to star in Cruel Intentions together. They were married between 1999 and 2006. The Hollywood stars continue to co-parent their children, daughter Ava, 24, and son Deacon, 20.
Reese had a second marriage to Jim Toth, which lasted between 2011 and 2023. Her subsequent romance was with private equity financier Oliver Haarmann.
Meanwhile, Scheana wed her man Brock Davies in August 2022. The couple has a three-year-old daughter called Summer Moon.
As for her professional life, the Bravolebrity has been let go from the hit reality TV show, along with the rest of the veteran cast. However, she has a very successful podcast called Scheananigans. Scheana also is to appear on the VPR spinoff The Valley.
