Marriages are hard. Sadly, Teddi Mellencamp is in the process of saying goodbye to hers. She and Edwin Arroyave are no more. Their divorce announcement arrived after Teddi got herself into an affair with Simon Schröeder, her horse trainer by day and illicit lover (at least once or twice) by night.
But Edwin has also allegedly cheated. So it is safe to say that this marriage has been crappy for a while. Therefore, Teddi seems to be in her so what era, as she and Simon were recently spotted out in public together, enjoying an equestrian competition with zero f*cks in sight.

Teddi has (somewhat) taken accountability for her mistakes. However, her marriage with Edwin is over. In contrast, the status of Simon and his wife, Karli Postel Schröeder, remains unknown. Yet, Karli did drop his surname from her showing at the 2024 USHJA National Hunter Derby shortly thereafter, so they are likely not doing well.
Couple this guess with Simon recently getting snapped at the stables alongside Teddi, and we likely now have an even more annoyed Karli. Or maybe not. Maybe Karli is over this mess and making plans to move on herself. Either way, her heart likely still hurts over her former friend’s antics with her spouse, which shows zero signs of letting up.
Thanks to Page Six, images of Teddi and Simon are now circulating online. As for where these images got taken, her daughter Slate had an equestrian competition last Saturday, and Simon attended. As Slate, aged 12, competed in Thermal, California, Simon sat nearby on a fence, taking it all in while Teddi snapped images with her cell phone, as all mothers do.
Teddi and Simon were sporting hoodies and cozy attires, seemingly comfortable in each other’s presence.
We see you, whatever you two are. Whatever is transpiring here, only time will tell. Just kidding. This tea will likely spill out on a podcast by Teddi or someone else.
