The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 14 certainly isn’t lacking in drama. And it just keeps escalating. Fans have seen the fireworks between Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley and even between Dorit and Sutton Stracke. And Bozoma Saint John has a theory on why Sutton might be so angry with Dorit.
On the latest RHOBH After Show, the Housewives break down the drama. Bozoma shared her insight with Dorit on why Sutton might have reacted so badly on the ride to the airport. And according to Dorit, Bozoma might be right on the money.
Does Sutton Stracke want to be the RHOBH group leader?
The ladies were discussing Sutton’s “sisterhood binding” ceremony and how they weren’t invested which caused Sutton to get upset.
“Why would she even do that?” Bozoma asked.
“I bet if you asked her that question she wouldn’t be able to answer it,” Dorit replied. She had previously expressed that she believed Sutton stirred the pot for drama so this was just par for the course for her.
“Her words and her actions never match,” Dorit said. She then shared that Sutton believed in her own “sisterhood” ceremony and sold it so much only to have it fall apart not when she began yelling at Dorit on the ride to the airport.
Dorit also gave a rather convincing impression of Sutton which Bozoma almost had a traumatic response to. “Maybe she wants to be the leader of the group?” Bozoma theorized.
“Well, that’s it,” Dorit agreed. “You just hit the nail on the head.”
“I feel there is some element where she feels like she wants to be the one in the group that everyone looks to,” Bozoma said. “The truth about power is that that’s not how it works at all. Power is about drawing people to you because of the way that you are. It’s not because you bound people’s hands together and said now, this is my idea.”
“Lead by example,” Dorit agreed. “Not something she can do.”
