Jesse Lally Teases The Valley Season 2: ‘Every Single Person Stepped Up’

Fans of The Valley are anxiously awaiting Season 2. The series’ debut was a huge success. It seemed to hit all the right notes in terms of drama, conflict, friendship, and failed relationships. Jesse Lally, for one, teased an even better second season. He also praised his co-stars for bringing their all for the camera.

Viewers met Jesse as a married man. Shortly after filming wrapped, he and his ex-wife Michelle Lally announced their split. In an almost identical turn of events, their co-stars, and Vanderpump Rules alums, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright also called it quits.

In addition to that post-marital drama, Jesse teased more gripping story lines in a recent interview.

Jesse Lally praised his Valley Season 2 co-stars as a “great group”

“If Season 1 was one of the best reality TV shows, Season 2 is gonna blow it out of the water,” Jesse told Us Weekly.

“Literally every single person stepped up to the plate,” he continued. “I knew while I was filming Season 1 what the arc of the story line was gonna be. [Now] I have no idea and I’m filming all day every day for Season 2.”

Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute reappeared on The Valley, alongside her fiancé, Luke Broderick. She will be joined by some of her former co-stars, including Lala Kent and Scheana Shay. Rounding out the rest of the cast are married couples Danny and Nia Booko, and Jason and Janet Caperna.

“We’ve all been friends for a long time so they’re gonna be part of it. Like I was at Vanderpump Rules shoots in the background,” Jesse said of the organic nature of the casts mixing. “We’re all gonna cross over, but our crew is a great group. Look at how season one went. So they’re always gonna be around. [And] if the new Vanderpump Rules is anything like the old Vanderpump Rules then it’s gonna be a hit.”

Jesse said there will be “crazy ups and downs” between himself and Michelle in The Valley Season 2

Jesse also spoke on how he and Michelle deal with their new family dynamic on The Valley Season 2. This includes co-parenting their four-year-old daughter Isabella.

“If you’re going through a divorce, I think it would be hard on anybody,” the real estate professional explained. “There’s some crazy ups and downs and we had hoped that we would be able to go into it and be that cool couple that got divorced and everything’s great. It just didn’t happen that way. So you’ll see it kind of unfold. You’ll see some sides being taken — it’s not easy.”

He continued, “You go a couple days and it is great. Then something else comes up — and it’s just the way it works when you’re separated and going through a divorce. The divorce is taking longer than we thought so it’s interesting. But we do our best.”

Jesse is happy to report that Isabella has adjusted to the new living situation. The Valley star is relieved that his daughter isn’t “around that toxicity” anymore.

“She just wants to see the best and she’s doing the best she can, which is good,” he continued. “She’s enjoying her mom’s house and my house and the schedule that we have works perfectly for her. That’s all that matters.”

The Valley returns in 2025 and is streaming on Peacock.
