After Season 10, Carole Radziwill left Real Housewives of New York. The bitter implosion of her friendship with Bethenny Frankel was probably one huge reason. The entire situation led to a falling out between Andy Cohen and Carole. Of course, they both continued to shade each other over the years. I certainly never thought that these former friends would come back together. But, finally, they did.
Andy Cohen shares that Carole Radziwill texted him
Carole and Andy’s feud started during the Season 10 RHONY reunion. Carole called out Andy for siding with Bethenny during their explosive argument. When Carole left the show, a post that she put on social media angered Andy.
“Carole’s post basically implied that she was leaving a really toxic situation,” Andy said in the book, Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of the Real Housewives from the People Who Lived It, by Dave Quinn. Andy added, “She is not the person I used to know.” Meanwhile, Carole claimed that her friendship with Andy had been “exaggerated.”
Thankfully, that is all water under the bridge since these friends have reconciled. “She texted me,” Andy told US Weekly. “We were conversing publicly a little bit, and she texted me privately, and then we just started texting. Then we ran into each other.”
Andy continued, “Weirdly, I’ve not seen her since she left the show – I’ve not seen her or run into her since [2018]. I [ran] into her, like, 10 days later at the Polo Bar, which was crazy. I’ve known her since the early 2000s, I think, or late 90s. So we have a long history together that predates the Housewives,” he added.
Naturally, Andy was asked if Carole could have a place on the rebooted RHONY. “Funnily enough, she actually says she knows or has seen most of the new women. I know she’s known Jenna [Lyons], probably, for a long time,” Andy explained. Then, he squashed that possibility. “I’m not saying that,” he said. “I’m just saying she knows these women.”
