It’s almost time for Season 3 of The Traitors to premiere, and I cannot wait! Of course, this season looks like it upped the ante, with some powerhouse competition players. Season 2 took home two Emmy Awards, including one for Alan Cumming as the host and best reality competition show. In the trailer for Season 3 of The Traitors, host Alan warns of what is to come. And we see two familiar faces from Season 1 and Season 2: Survivor star Parvati Shallow and Below Deck alum Kate Chastain. Bring on the mayhem!
The Traitors Season 3 trailer teases some ruthless players
This season, 21 contestants will be lying, betraying, and taking part in odd competitions while trying to win the $250,000 prize pot. The show has six Bravo stars, along with a stacked cast of reality TV veterans.
At the beginning of the trailer, Alan states, “Come friends, come foe, come one, come all! To the Highlands, to see who lives and who falls.” Contestant Bob the Drag Queen is in it to win it. “To get the job done, I’ll stab you in the back,” Bob said.
Then two Bravo stars weigh in. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania said, “Now we’re off to the next weird sh*t that Alan will have for us.” And Dorinda Medley, a Real Housewives of New York alum added, “I intend to leave as queen of the castle.”
Next, we meet up with two Survivor legends. “Even when I tell the truth, it’s a lie,” Tony Vlachos admitted. Then “Boston” Rob Mariano commented, “If I were them, I’d be scared.” I would never bet against Boston Rob, particularly in this type of game.
Of course, Vanderpump Rules alum Tom Sandoval shared, “Finally, people are taking me seriously.” Well, maybe he hasn’t watched the show before.
The Season 3 trailer also featured a group of clowns with red hair (that’s a hard pass for me.) We also saw a casket being carried in a chapel by pallbearers and a giant explosion outside on the grounds. Plus, one contestant had a slithery worm or snake crawling on her hand. Yikes!
The clip also featured someone dangling from a helicopter, and the competitors rowing a Viking-style longboat. We also caught a glimpse of Kate and Parvati, clad in regal gowns, walking outside, and they look like they mean business. Of course, Kate played the game in Seasons 1 and 2, while Parvati played last season. Buckle up for a nail-biting new season!
