The show might be called Married to Medicine, but Dr. Heavenly Kimes thinks her marriage is exempt from the drama. The dentist and reality star just drew a hard line when it comes to her husband, Dr. Damon Kimes. She’s not going into details about their problems.
According to Heavenly, her goal is to keep their marriage intact, which means keeping any of their real problems off of our screens. The rest of the cast? They’re fair game.
Dr. Heavenly is playing by her own rules
Season 11 of M2M is just getting started, but the storyline isn’t new. Dr. Heavenly is dragging other people’s marriages while getting extremely offended the moment someone talks about her own. During an interview on The Big Tigger Morning Show, Heavenly said that behavior isn’t going to change.
“My marriage is not for sale,” Dr. Heavenly declared. “I don’t disrespect my husband. I don’t do anything of that, and I’ve gotten a lot of flack for that, but I’ve said that from the beginning.”
With that said, Heavenly reiterated that everyone else’s marriages were up for discussion. Her marriage isn’t for sale, but apparently, everyone else’s is.
“If y’all put your stuff out there, I can talk about it. If you put out there that your man did whatever, I’mma say it,” she explained.
It’s this method of thinking that explains why she and Dr. Contessa Metcalfe are in such a negative place in Season 11. Heavenly accused Contessa’s man of betraying his wife, but during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she blamed Contessa for bringing it up in the first place.
“I never said her husband was cheating. Everything I ever said about Contessa came out of her mouth,” Dr. Heavenly argued.
The drama continues on Married to Medicine, with new episodes airing every Sunday at 9/8c on Bravo.
