Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s former chief engineer, Colin MacRae has been missed in Season 5. Colin was one of the voices of reason on the cast for several seasons. That was until he got into one of the most famous love triangles on Bravo with Daisy Kelliher and Gary King. The drama was too messy for Colin, so he left the show. Now he is traveling the world on his catamaran along with a new girlfriend in tow. And he’s spilling some tea about their relationship.
Colin MacRae says he started dating Brittany “over a month later” after Daisy
Even though Colin was in a messy love triangle, he still keeps in touch with Daisy now and then. He even texted her a message before the new season started. But Colin has moved on. His new girlfriend is Brittany Amodeo, who is also his videographer documenting his travels.
Colin wanted to clear the air that he never cheated on Daisy with Brittany. He said on Instagram, “I was casually seeing Britt, my videographer, and we called it off because we wanted to work together and make videos — so we thought it was best if we just don’t see each other.”
He then clarified he was single during Season 4 of BDSY. Colin said, “And then I went and did Below Deck [Sailing Yacht] completely single. But I told Britt I would probably end up hooking up with Daisy because we had already hooked up in the past. And that’s what happened.”
Colin dished he started to see Brittany a month after Daisy. He said, “I called it off, and then over a month later, I started to see Britt again. So there’s plenty of reasons to dislike me, trust me, but cheating probably isn’t one of them. I’ve never been a cheater, never will be.”
Things are still going strong for the couple. Colin recently posted about taking a sailing trip with her and chefs Ileisha Dell and Marcos Spaziani. He wrote, “It doesn’t get much better than this, the ultimate A team! Taking 11 patrons sailing for a week to Catalina island. The food is going to be next level!!” Let’s hope Brittany caught it all on camera for the world to see.
