Does Lisa Vanderpump live in a cave?
On a recent episode of the Housewives Nightcap podcast, LVP admitted that she hadn’t yet heard about former SUR employee Kristen Doute’s pregnancy. After admitting to the hosts of the show that she “never talk[s] to” Kristen anymore, she learned that Kristen is expecting a baby.
“I hadn’t heard that,” The Valley producer claimed. “How on Earth did that happen? Who’s the father? Do we know?” I know she and Kristen aren’t close, but that was just unnecessary.
Lisa Vanderpump pleads ignorance about Kristen Doute’s pregnancy
When co-hosts Lauren Herbert and Emily Orozco explained that Kristen is engaged to her boyfriend of two and a half years, Luke Broderick, Lisa seemed shocked.
“Oh, she’s getting married?” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum asked. “I’m really not very involved in The Valley, even though I’m a producer.” Apparently, she doesn’t watch the show or keep up with the news, either. Aren’t producers supposed to know what’s going on when they’re … a producer?
Ironically, Lisa’s daughter, Pandora Sabo, is also currently pregnant with her second child. How would Lisa feel if someone questioned the paternity of her impending grandbaby?
Kristen announced in November that she and Luke were expecting a baby. Needless to say, they’re both over the moon after their well-publicized fertility journey. They’re especially grateful to be expecting this rainbow baby after suffering a miscarriage in 2023.
Kristen responds with a clown emoji
On December 20, Kristen shared a screenshot of Page Six’s article reporting LVP’s nasty comments. She expressed her feelings about Lisa by adding a big clown emoji to the post. I guess that means the Vanderpump Villa producer won’t be invited to the wedding?
On that same day’s Scheananigans podcast, Scheana Shay awarded her former boss the “Jax-Hole of the Week” label for her nasty comments.
“With all due respect, it was … super shady,” the former SUR waitress said. “[It’s] also unprofessional, especially because Lisa is a producer of The Valley. You know who Luke is. He is a cast member on this show. This season, they get engaged.”
“Knowing the struggles that Kristen has shared about her path to becoming a mother,” Scheana continued, “even if you don’t like someone, it is distasteful. How hard is it to [just] wish her the best?”
Scheana believes Lisa may harbor resentment toward Kristen, since the Vanderpump Rules alum always refused to kiss the ring. “Kristen has always stood up to [Lisa],” the Good as Gold singer said. “[She’s] never just bowed down and been like, ‘OK, Lisa’s the boss.’”
While Kristen is always honest about expressing her feelings, Scheana always has a more “respectful” attitude toward her former employer. “[I’m like], ‘Jump? How high?’” she joked.
Kristen and Luke announced earlier this month that they’re expecting a baby girl.
