When two parents divorce, there’s always going to be somewhat of a trickle-down effect on the kids. For Kim Zolciak’s daughter Ariana Biermann, divorce has been exceptionally stressful. The 23-year-old Don’t Be Tardy alum has had to watch her parents call 911 on each other every other day, battle with creditors, and vacate their home due to a foreclosure. Now, Ariana is getting real about the toll it has taken on her.
Kim and Kroy Biermann first filed for divorce back in May 2023. A few weeks later, they were like, “Never mind,” and rescinded the paperwork. By the end of Summer 2023, the divorce was back on, and it’s been an avalanche of messiness ever since. Unfortunately, their kids are stuck watching it all unfold.
It ain’t easy being Ariana Biermann
In a recent TikTok video, Ariana told her followers that divorce isn’t all fun and games. In fact, she said this whole situation has been the worst thing she’s ever experienced.
“You know when you’re younger, like 10, and you think about divorce… You’re like, ‘Oh my God, two Christmases, two vacations, two birthday gifts, fun time, extra food on Thanksgiving… What a fun time,” she explained in her post.
Ariana continued, “And then you grow up, and then you’re an adult, and then it actually happens. And then you’re like, ‘Oh sh-t. Divorce f-cking sucks. Oh my God. This is actually the worst thing that’s ever happened, for everyone involved.”
Ariana, who has spent 2024 fighting a DUI charge, said that her mom’s failed marriage has made her question her future. Without a strong example to follow, she’s worried she’ll end up just like her mom.
“And then you think to yourself, ‘Do I want to get married? Because does that just make things complicated?’ Then you think, ‘Yeah I do. Yeah but no. I don’t know. Because this really just f-cking sucks,'” Ariana continued. “So, this just sucks.”
While Ariana tries to cope with her new reality, Kim recently said that she’s trying to “take the high road” when it comes to Kroy. For the sake of her kids, she doesn’t want to keep publicly fighting with him. We wish them all the best of luck.
