Just in time for the holidays, Lea Black has gifted the world with some ruthless shade toward the Real Housewives of Miami cast. The franchise OG took a shot at her former castmates and the extensive plastic surgery some of them have had over the years. According to Lea, she can hardly recognize some of them.
Once a Housewife, always a Housewife
Lea hasn’t held a mojito on RHOM in over ten years, but she still has the shadiness of a full-time Housewife. Some things just don’t change.
Her latest shady moment happened during a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live. That’s where all of the Housewives go to throw their shade, and Jeff was talking about how Lea has been asked to participate in the new era of RHOM.
“They’re always asking Lea to be on it,” Jeff claimed. “And you said that you wouldn’t be able to recognize the women because of all of the plastic surgery, and they would need to wear nametags.”
When reminded of her comment, Lea definitely didn’t deny it. However, she did try to claim that she wasn’t trying to be “mean” with the snide remark. Maybe she was just being honest? We’re not naming any names, but we’ve all seen those before-and-after photos.
Of course, Lea did make a brief appearance on RHOM in Season 5 to help console Lisa Hochstein as she navigated her divorce. One of Jeff’s guests pointed out how Lea used that scene to incorporate some overt product placement for her skincare line. Lea had a shady way to justify that choice.
She joked, “You need to get rid of the bags under your eyes from crying, girl.”
Yikes! With reads like these, it’s clear Lea’s not worried about what her former castmates think. She’s doing just fine without them.
