Season 16 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta was supposed to be a return to form for the series. After several exits ahead of filming, including Kandi Burruss and Shereé Whitfield, fans were still excited about the new season. Then Kenya Moore was suspended from filming and ultimately left RHOA. The reason? She allegedly showed photos of newbie co-star Brittany Eady performing a sexual act. Shortly after Kenya made the rounds on a sort of apology tour, she crossed paths with RHOA alum NeNe Leakes.
Kenya Moore and NeNe Leakes had a blast when they reunited by chance
In November 2024, Kenya took “full accountability” for her behavior during an appearance at Tamron Hall. “Hindsight is always fifty, fifty. If I could do it all over again, I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation,” Kenya explained.
However, Kenya subsequently claimed that she did not engage in “revenge porn.” Kenya stated, “All of the rumors about revenge porn were not true that was a complete lie.” Well, that clears up everything.
So, what did NeNe think about Kenya’s exit from RHOA? “I don’t know if I was surprised,” NeNe previously stated. “I know that, over the years, Kenya has always pushed the envelope a little bit.”
Well, these two former Atlanta peach-holders crossed paths at an airport on December 19, 2024. According to PEOPLE, NeNe posted a video of their hijinks on her Instagram Stories. “Oh my gosh, you guys! Look at how I ran into!” NeNe said while Kenya busted a move and laughed in the background. “Not only was she in London, we bumped into each other at the airport.”
Then NeNe quipped, “Is this enough filter Kenya?” Kenya replied, “Relax on those filters!” Well, NeNe shared that her look was natural and sans glam. “This is skin! I don’t have on any makeup!” NeNe stated.
Finally, at the end of the video, NeNe attempted to take off with Kenya’s Louis Vuitton luggage. Who knew that the ladies were carrying identical suitcases? In a slide that she added to her Instagram Stories, NeNe added a photo of the duo smiling together.
