The first seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were iconic. Viewers watched Adrienne Maloof and her husband, Dr. Paul Nassif, bicker their way across almost three seasons of the show. The couple shares three sons. And now Adrienne is reflecting on her life since her kids are out of the house.

Unfortunately, Adrienne and Paul divorced in 2012 after a decade of marriage. And their split was far from amicable. “I think being on a reality show, it did speed up our demise and divorce,” Paul previously stated. “I think it was going to happen anyway, eventually.”
As for Adrienne? Right now, she is sad that her three sons are no longer living at home. “My oldest is 21 [and Gavin is] in the industry. And then I have twins [Colin and Christian] that are 18,” Adrienne told PEOPLE during her holiday party that benefitted Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles.
“So yeah, I have three boys, and they’re … all like adults now. It’s sad.” The mom added, “I am empty nesting, and it’s really hard.”
Of course, Adrienne’s sons were home to celebrate Christmas, but she stated that it’s “not enough for me.
“It’s never enough for moms,” the RHOBH alum added. Amen!
Adrienne continued, “I like excitement. I like laughter. My kids bringing their friends over always ready to feed them.” She stated, “I miss that. I really do.” Of course, being in a quiet home is quite an adjustment.
Still, Adrienne is looking towards the future. ”I’ve learned that I got to get on to the next chapter in my life. And I’ve got some great projects coming up,” Adrienne said. “So I’m blessed for that.” Perhaps a return to RHOBH could be in the cards?
Plus, Adrienne is focused on lending a hand to others. “You can’t look at the glamour and the glitz of life because we’re all gonna be, you know, six feet under someday. So what are you going to do for humanity?” she commented. “What are you gonna do to make the world a better place? Honest to God? That’s how I live my life.”
