Although the holiday season has looked a little different for Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards this year, they’re keeping up the family tradition of spending time with their daughters in Aspen, Colorado. They’re trying to, at least.
Of course, Mauricio started his holiday fun early by going on dates with models in their thirties, but he has since reconvened with his family for a few holiday photo ops. Cheers to him.
While it was sweet to Mau reunite with his family, it seems like his mind is still elsewhere. He went to a showing of Wicked with Kyle and the girls, but he wound up leaving the theater before it was over. We’re so serious when we say this might be our last straw for Mauricio.
Mauricio Umansky isn’t “dancing through life” in Aspen
We can thank Sophia Umansky for documenting her family’s holiday on TikTok. While we’ve all been hyperfocused on Mau kissing Klaudi K after a sushi date, the Umansky girls have tried to maintain a semblance of normalcy for the holidays.
In one TikTok, Sophia documented a family trip to the movies. They went and saw Wicked: Part One, and the family shared their before-and-after experiences. Both Mau and Kyle were seeing it for the first time.
“Hey! I am Moe-Wan Kenobi and this is me before I see Wicked for the first time,” Mauricio said to the camera.
The camera then showed everyone’s reactions to the film. Of course, Kyle was crying. Sophia and her sister had seen it already, but they were gagged all over again. The ladies all sang the songs in the car on the way home. Meanwhile, Mauricio was at home half asleep on the couch. In the video, his daughters asked for an explanation. Why are you on the couch, dude?
“Because I’m tired,” he said before being pushed to reveal the truth. “Because I left in the middle.”
Seriously? What kind of monster leaves Wicked before seeing Cynthia Erivo belt “Defying Gravity?” Sophia even captioned the video, “Dad didn’t even make it to Emerald City #wicked.”
Obviously, there are a lot of questionable things Mauricio has done in the last year that we can look past. Disrespecting Wicked and dipping out on family fun? That’s a new low. Do better, Mauricio.
