After winning Love Island USA, Kordell Beckham and Serena Page just celebrated their first Christmas together, and they’re making us all feel poor. To commemorate their first holiday season, Kordell pulled out all of the stops and spoiled his girl with an $8,000 gift for Serena. Apparently, a partridge in a pear tree just wouldn’t cut it.
Kordell Beckham dropped some major cash on this Christmas gift
In a normal relationship, you might get your partner something sweet and sentimental for the first holiday season together. Kordell and Serena don’t have a normal relationship, so of course, they had to go over the top. In an Instagram Story, Serena revealed that her man spoiled her with a brand-new Cartier watch for Christmas.
“Favorite gift,” Serena excitedly wrote on Instagram. “Ily baby.” Then, Kordell reposted the picture and added, “Anything for you baby.”
People did some research and confirmed that the piece was worth over $8,000. Considered to be one of Cartier’s “most distinctive” designs, the piece is supposed to be worn by “women who never go unnoticed.”
Keep in mind, this was just one of her gifts! Serena documented the rest of their holiday, which included coordinated outfits and tickets to the Beyoncé Bowl. Seriously, everything they do is picture-perfect.
Although Kordell gifted her an $8,000 watch, Serena told People that they still have no plans on moving in together. They’re taking their time, and she wants another piece of jewelry before they take that step.
“No apartment. There’s none of that. The next step would be engagement,” she told the outlet. “And we need some time for that.”
After dropping all of this cash on a Christmas gift, Kordell has set the bar high for the engagement ring. Whenever it’s time to make that purchase, it’ll probably be like taking out a mortgage.
