Season 3 of The Traitors (U.S.) premieres January 9, 2025, on Peacock. Much about the upcoming season is still under wraps, including which cast members will be selected as traitors. While we wait for Episode 1 to drop, let’s take a look at the cast and decipher who the Season 3 traitors should be.
Britney Haynes – Should be a traitor
Britney Haynes made her reality TV debut on Season 12 of Big Brother when she was only 22 years old. The Arkansas native’s sharp wit and seriously shady confessionals made her a fan favorite. She was a great social player, which helped offset her lack of athleticism and earned her a spot in the final four. Britney returned to Big Brother for Season 14 where her game was foiled by former traitor Dan Gheesling. She also competed in Big Brother: Reindeer Games in 2023.
I think Britney would be a great traitor. Big Brother players don’t have the best track record on the Peacock show because everyone assumes they are skilled in deception. Usually, BB contestants struggle to shake the stigma in the Traitor’s castle. I suspect Danielle Reyes’ reputation will raise a few eyebrows but I think people may give Britney the benefit of the doubt. She isn’t known as a mastermind, so she will be able to evade suspicion better than players like Danielle or Survivor’s Rob Mariano. She’s never been a “villain” on Big Brother but that doesn’t mean she’s not a smart, savvy player.
Bob the Drag Queen – should be a traitor
Bob the Drag Queen teased the upcoming season during an appearance on the Sloppy Seconds podcast, telling hosts Big Dipper and Meatball that Season 3 of The Traitors is “very good.”
The Drag Race alum also shared a bit about her performance on the show, hinting that she fared well in the Scottish castle.
“All of my podcasts with Monét X Change has prepared me for this moment. The manipulation, the lies, the gaslighting, the coercion, the collusion. A contusion! Has prepared me. I’m really proud of my performance on The Traitors,” she said. “You know I’m a messy b*tch who likes to fight. I’m a messy b*tch who likes drama.”
Bob’s description of her game makes me suspect she may be a Traitor this season. I would be delighted if that were the case.
Rob Mariano – should be a traitor
Survivor legend Rob Mariano is an obvious choice to be a traitor. The 48-year-old is known for his cutthroat gameplay and ability to manipulate and outsmart his opponents. I suspect Rob will suffer a fate similar to Dan Gheesling, who was unable to shake his reputation in the castle. I’m unsure if Rob would be a successful traitor, but I would still like to see him try. He may not be able to evade suspicion but he’ll provide some must-see TV moments before his banishment.
Tom Sandoval – should be a faithful
Selecting Tom Sandoval as a traitor would be too obvious. The Vanderpump Rules alum has carried that label since his affair with Rachel Leviss broke in March 2023. I would rather see him navigate the game as a faithful because I suspect it will be a more difficult role for him. I also think Sandoval would serve as a good scapegoat for the traitors. He would be an easy person to throw under the bus because of his dastardly reputation.
Dorinda Medley – should be a Faithful
I need to see Dorinda Medley running the Season 3 roundtables like a mad king and for that reason, she needs to be a faithful. I want to witness Dorinda in full-on interrogation mode this season, sussing out potential traitors. She would be too on edge as a traitor. She needs to be fully relaxed, grilling her castmates and making baseless accusations.
