Cardi B always knows how to make a fashion statement and she didn’t miss the opportunity to turn heads at the New Year’s Eve celebration at E11EVEN Miami. On December 31, the rapper showed up at the nightclub in a bold gown with a plunging neckline. However, what caught everyone’s eye was that the ensemble took a lot of inspiration from lingerie. The delicate lace trimming of the sheer bodice gave a negligee-like feel to it, with her elbow-length gloves continuing the intimate wear theme.
Cardi B welcomes New Year in gown with lace bodice and velvet skirt
Cardi B took E11EVEN Miami by storm on Tuesday as she rocked up in a gown with a see-through bodice. On the evening of the last day of 2024, the rapper performed at the nightclub. She made herself at home during the performance, opting to grace the stage without her footwear. In the photos from the NYE celebration, she could be seen having fun as she performed several of her hits for the crowd of onlookers.
For the year-end event, Cardi B wore a plunging lingerie-inspired gown. While the bodice was sheer and made use of black lace, the skirt was made of a luxurious emerald-green velvet fabric. The ensemble was super bold, featuring a plunging neckline and a slit in the skirt that reached her crotch. Cardi B’s plunging lingerie-inspired gown’s bodice took inspiration from intimate wear with its delicate lace-trimmed hemlines. It also featured stringy detailings that are characteristic of lingerie.
The rapper accessorized her fit with opera gloves made of black lace that matched her gown’s bodice. She also opted for pointed-toe heels in black to complete the festive look. Cardi B let her fashion choices steal the spotlight, keeping her hairstyle quite minimal. She simply parted her hair down the middle, styling it into loose waves. The star also kept her makeup nice and subtle, opting for a nude lip and dramatic false lashes from i-ENVY. The overall look was styled by Kollin Carter, with Erika La’ Pearl working on her makeup.
