As Real Housewives of New Jersey fans know, Season 15 of the show has been placed on pause. The reason? Season 14 led to a divide between the cast. The co-stars were either on Team Teresa Giudice or on Team Melissa Gorga. Meanwhile, Dolores Catania tried to play Switzerland and unite the cast. Her efforts failed miserably. In fact, plans for a reunion were scrapped. Now Teresa is giving her two cents about Dolores dragging the RHONJ cast members.
Teresa Giudice claims that Dolores Catania is “definitely not talking about me”
Dolores previously commented on the cast’s inability to work together, and how that was affecting their future on the show. “Of course, I’d look forward to seeing my cast come back on the screen … but they made a mess,” Dolores stated. “I’m a little mad that everybody couldn’t get it together.” She later said, “We have heard nothing from the bosses about our show. They’re probably just so mad at us by now. I’m not sure they know what to do,” Dolores said.
So, Teresa hopped on her podcast, Turning the Tables, and addressed Dolores’ comments. Of course, she managed to tie it somehow to the cast coming after her husband, Luis Ruelas. “The last four years, everyone’s been making a paycheck talking about my husband, which I think was so wrong. So everyone got paid the last four years talking about my husband,” Teresa said. “And I remember when Dolores was questioned about her relationship, she didn’t like that so much. So, imagine – you always have to put yourself in the other person’s shoes.” Well, if Luis didn’t boast about hanging out in Nonno’s pajamas, maybe he wouldn’t grab negative attention.
Teresa continued, “So, I know she’s not talking about me. I know she’s definitely not talking about me because I know what happened to me. If it was done to her, she would not like that at all.” She added, “And I’m sure [her boyfriend] Paulie [Connell] wouldn’t like that. Not too many people would even last after what happened [to me].” Finally, Teresa said, “You’re welcome,” to her RHONJ co-stars. How can Teresa think that she isn’t involved in the divisiveness of Season 14? Sigh.
Andy Cohen weighs in on RHONJ’s fate … sort of
As it stands right now, Andy Cohen is exhausted by people asking about the fate of RHONJ. “You’re not gonna get it for, like, a year,” Andy stated, “so everyone stop asking.” Yikes! That is painful to hear.
Naturally, Melissa Gorga wasted no time tossing some sprinkle cookies, and her thoughts, into the mix. “That’s a really long time,” she stated. “Even if I’m a part of it or not a part, that’s a really long time.” Facts! And I will be counting the days until we find out if the show is getting a full, or a partial, reboot.
Real Housewives of New Jersey is streaming on Peacock.
