The Bravosphere is still buzzing about Southern Charm star Craig Conover’s split from his Summer House girlfriend Paige DeSorbo. The long-distance couple had been together for three years. All signs pointed to the duo eventually tying the knot. Alas, that was not to be. Now we are finding out the lengths that Craig went to as he envisioned a future with Paige.
Craig Conover explains his parenthood timeline with Paige
In December 2024, Craig was planning to marry Paige at some point. Apparently, there was no set timeline. However, the couple was surrounded by breakup rumors.
During a recent episode of Southern Charm, Craig told his buddies and co-stars, Shep Rose and Austen Kroll that he froze his sperm because the couple planned to wait three to four years to have a baby. And, drumroll please, Craig accomplished this goal the day before. Awkward! “I would be remiss to not say that becoming a dad is like, probably like, a, whatever it’s called when it has to happen in my future,” Craig stated.
In a hilarious flashback, Craig brought up freezing his sperm to Paige. “What the f*ck?” Paige remarked. “That’s like the craziest thing in the world.”
In the end, Craig just wanted a family like he had growing up. “The version of life that I saw myself living isn’t what I’m living,” Craig said in a confessional, “which is like this stable home that I grew up in. But I think if you find the right person and they happen to be a feisty Italian from New York, things aren’t always going to go how you have them planned.”
After Austen asked if Paige crafted the timeline, Craig admitted that she did. “She did, and then it made sense to me. Without any influence from Paige, yes, I’d be, like, alright, you date for a little while, then you get married, then you have kids,” Craig explained. “We’re going to do that one day, but why don’t we just try and make as much money as possible now?”

However, Austen was concerned about all the changes that Craig was making. Austen said in his confessional, “I’m not entirely sold that Craig wants exactly what Paige wants.” Welp, I guess Austen was right.
Now, Paige’s pillow line on Craig’s website, Sewing Down South, seems to be missing. I guess it is a personal and professional parting of the ways. Plus, it seems like Paige and Craig just didn’t want the same things in life.
