Southern Hospitality is one of the best new shows Bravo has introduced in recent years. The Southern Charm spin-off has messy workplace hookups, co-dependent friendships, and all of the drama we could ask for. Joe Bradley, who’s been a star since Season 1, has learned quickly about the ups and downs of reality TV fame.
Whenever I think of Joe, I immediately think of Luann de Lesseps. If you ask why, you’re simply not watching enough Bravo. Let’s not forget last year when Joe and Luann appeared on Watch What Happens Live together and their chemistry lit up the Clubhouse. Eventually, it came out that the two potentially kept the good vibes going and hooked up after the show. It would be all fun and games if Joe wasn’t casually dating Summer House’s Danielle Olivera at the time. Now that a year has passed, Joe is explaining why he was so coy about the situation.
Joe Bradley tried to be the nice guy
In an interview with Us Weekly, Joe revealed why he decided, during Season 3, to admit to kissing the Countess. “I think that enough time has passed and I’m sick of the rumors and the lies,” he admitted. Let’s not forget that Joe’s denial helped fuel that fire, but we digress.
Anyway, Joe didn’t hide the hookup because he was ashamed. “[I was] never self-conscious or trying to hide the fact that I kissed her, because Luann’s iconic,” Joe said. Good, he better put some respect on Luann’s name.
Anyway, he said he decided to keep it quiet to try to spare Danielle’s feelings. “We were not technically boyfriend and girlfriend during that time, but I knew how it looked, and I don’t like when people’s feelings get hurt because of my actions,” Joe said. “And that’s kind of why I was trying to hide everything.” We get his intent, but something tells us that Danielle might have a different opinion on this entire situation. Regardless, it will go down in Bravo history, no doubt.
