It still seems surreal that Vanderpump Rules, and its familiar cast, is so last year. The original cast was let go in favor of a new group of SURvers at Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant, SUR. The show had been on pause after Season 11 exploded. The cast divides couldn’t be mended, and so the cast didn’t get an invite for Season 12. As for Lala Kent? She is far from worried. Allegedly.
Vanderpump Rules alum Lala Kent is a mom of two
Lala welcomed her second daughter, Sosa, on September 3, 2024. For this child, Lala decided to use a sperm donor and underwent Intrauterine Insemination. She shared her journey selecting the sperm donor on Season 11 of VPR.
Recently, Lala was a guest on the podcast, Not Skinny But Not Fat. And she revealed some information that I would have been okay not knowing. Lala shared that she added her breast milk to her coffee since there was nowhere to “save it.” Is this a new, thrifty Lala?
“I put it in my coffee and drank 10 ounces of breast milk this morning,” the Pump Rules alum explained to the podcast host. She added that she was “not dumping it down the sink.” Then Lala continued her breast milk discussion, stating that she was “never married to the act of breastfeeding.” She added, “I was like, ‘Maybe I’ll do it, maybe my milk will come in, maybe it won’t. We’ll see.’” And now we’ve gone from breastfeeding to coffee additive.
After Lala’s friendships with Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix imploded, she wasn’t bothered by it. “I’ve always said I like my circle to be small. And the smaller the better,” Lala remarked.
As for her plans for her life post-VPR? Well, Lala, Tom Schwartz, and Scheana Shay all filmed for Season 2 of The Valley. Of course, we still don’t know the extent of Lala’s screen time. Since both Scheana and Lala have embraced motherhood, maybe The Valley is a great place for them to land.
Vanderpump Rules and The Valley are streaming on Peacock.
