In Season 6 of Welcome to Plathville, we watched Ethan Plath struggle to move past his divorce from Olivia Plath. At the time, he could barely even wrap his head around giving a girl his phone number. However, they say time heals all wounds, and Ethan just hard-launched his new relationship on Instagram. He’s officially moved on from Olivia!
New year, new boo for Ethan Plath
Ethan celebrated New Year’s Day by introducing his followers to his new girlfriend. He shared a carousel of pictures with his new girl along with some sweet words.
“Proud to introduce my sweet girlfriend! She truly is one of the sweetest, kindest, and patient people I’ve ever known!” wrote Ethan. “Looking forward to the next year and what it has to bring. Wishing everyone a very happy new year! Here we go 2025!”
Before this new girl, Ethan and Olivia were married for five years. Most Plathville fans saw that split coming from a mile away. Either way, the TLC cameras captured all of the drama in Season 6.
After Ethan’s divorce, you would think that Welcome to Plathville fans would be excited to see him moving on from his ex. Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. The comments were overwhelmingly shady towards the TLC star and his new girlfriend.
One fan wrote, “Huh? Is she captive? Looks so uncomfortable in these photos.”
Another person added, “Hope she is prepared to be a trad wife,” while someone else in the comments encouraged her to steer clear of his mother.
Ethan didn’t tag the girlfriend on his Instagram, so we don’t know her name. However, they seem pretty cute based on the handful of pictures they shared. We wish them the best of luck since Ethan’s followers didn’t.
