Summer House Season 9 premieres February 12. The trailer just dropped. And as has been the case in recent seasons, viewers are anxious to see how matters play out between Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke. Their sophomore co-star Jesse Solomon got a ring-side seat to all the drama. And he revealed how the duo responded to each other.
In Season 8, it was all about waiting to watch Lindsay and Carl on-camera break up. The scenario was highly publicized before its airing. Now, fans want to see how the pair navigate their life in the share house post-relationship.
It’s not going to be plain sailing, that’s for sure.
Jesse Solomon admitted that there were “tense moments” during Summer House Season 9
Jesse gave an interview to Us Weekly about what he saw between the formerly betrothed couple. It’s worth noting that Lindsay was filming while pregnant. And happily pregnant at that. Jesse revealed that she was in a nesting mode in the share house.
“She was very motherly. She was sober, obviously, so very level-headed. Always cooking and cleaning. In the mornings, she brought me iced coffee every day,” the finance professional said.
The host then asked if it was “strange” for Jesse “to navigate” around Carl and Lindsay. The reality TV star responded, “For them maybe. For the rest of us it was not bad. But, yeah, I can imagine that being in the house with your ex-fiancé is a little awkward. Definitely some tense moments. But they handled it well.”
Jesse got a reputation of removing himself from the group a bit last season. He often went off-camera to different parties or dates. According to comments by Paige DeSorbo, he gets more into the melee in Season 9. Enough apparently, to also comment on the happenings between Carl and Lindsay.
Jesse continues to advocate for men’s health by bringing awareness to testicular cancer in young males. He also revealed that he is back working in finance.
