After all of these years in the Bravo trenches, Andy Cohen has seen his fair share of reality TV breakups. So when it comes to Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover, he feels pretty confident that there’s a solid reason for their split.
There have been rumors floating around that Paige cheated on the Southern Charm star. Some folks think Craigy already moved on with another girl. Andy, on the other hand, thinks there’s more to it than just that. In his mind, their busy lives have slowly pulled them in different directions.
Andy weighs in on Paige and Craig’s split
When the news dropped that Paige and Craig split after three years, Andy immediately responded to the news expressing his sadness over another Bravo breakup. Then, he discussed the split in more detail during a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.
“We were very sad to get the news about Paige and Craig, I have to say,” Andy said while recapping all of the Bravo news that happened during the holidays.
When talking about the breakup, Andy acknowledged how the former couple hadn’t provided a reason for the split. That’s when he started theorizing. According to him, they’re both “in the middle of an incredible amount of success,” and that tends to dissolve even the most promising of relationships.
“He’s just opened a restaurant in Charleston. He’s got this business, he’s got a store in Nashville, he’s got a place in Charleston,” Andy reflected “And then she is absolutely, like, murdering it. Killing it.”
Like many of us, Andy thought that the writing was on the wall for a while. On Summer House, we watched Paige cry over the idea of moving to Charleston to be with Craig. Then, Andy said he noticed that Paige didn’t accompany Craig at the Southern Charm Season 10 premiere party.
“There have been a few events where she hasn’t — you know, she’s so busy — and I just think the more and more that starts to happen, you know, you worry that it causes a strain or whatever,” Andy continued. “I mean, listen, we still don’t totally know [or] have a reason, so more to come on that.”
With Southern Charm currently airing and a new season of Summer House on the horizon, Andy will have ample opportunities to ask these two about their breakup. Let’s hope they get their stories straight.
