Too little too late. That saying could apply to a few things surrounding Real Housewives of New Jersey. But in this particular case, it’s Rachel Fuda’s assumed stance with Teresa Giudice.
The OG housewife and the second-season cast member clashed from the start, but Season 14 brought it to a whole new level. Teresa and Rachel didn’t just fight, they also brought their families into things.
Now Tre is claiming that she tried but Rachel was the problem.
Teresa Giudice accused Rachel Fuda of being a “follower”
On a recent episode of her podcast, Turning The Tables, Tre revealed that she wanted to squash the beef between the two.
“I was trying to make up with her and she just kept fighting with me. And then I felt like she was a follower because it’s like I did nothing to you,” Teresa griped.
Given that RHONJ has been put on hiatus indefinitely, it’s not a stretch to assume that this feud was part of the reason. So many cast members were at all-out war, they couldn’t even have a proper reunion. Allegedly.
Bravo has not confirmed why the reunion didn’t happen but it was a very bad sign for the cast. When the news of the canceled reunion broke in June, a source stated that there was “no path forward.”
Which is likely what can be said about Tre and Rachel’s relationship. Something that Teresa points to as a mistake on Rachel’s part. Also worth noting, Teresa is equally unable to move on from the feud with her brother and Melissa Gorga.
“It’s like we’re on a TV show. Be smart like the other Housewives are. But you see how the other Housewives, they can be in the same room together,” Tre concluded.
That seems to be Rachel’s exact problem. Back in June, Rachel said that her RHONJ cast clique had “true relationships versus manufactured relationships.” She added, “That was a very stark reality, and it’s so clear.”
