RHOSLC Star Bronwyn Newport’s Husband Todd Bradley’s Divorce Settlement Revealed

What does a Todd Bradley divorce look like? There’s been a lot of talk on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City about prenups and the marital bliss between Todd and his wife, Bronwyn Newport. This despite their having just celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary.

The RHOSLC star revealed on camera that she and Todd do not have a prenup. While the couple is committed to each other and their marriage, Todd and his first wife divorced after nearly 28 years of marriage.

Todd Bradley and his ex-wife maintained an air of civility during their divorce

Todd’s prior marriage to Margaret Bradley has not been mentioned on RHOBH. But DailyMail exclusively obtained documents regarding the divorce, which the tech executive’s ex filed for in August 2009. It took another three years to finalize.

At stake was an English-style manor in Palo Alto California, worth $14.9 million, and a five-bedroom mansion in San Diego.

Per the Marital Settlement Agreement, Margaret waived spousal support from Todd. Rather, he agreed to pay a $4 million settlement.

“In consideration of the mutual waivers of support, Todd shall pay Margaret the sum of four million dollars ($4,000,000) as set forth in the MSA (Marital Settlement Agreement). Said sum shall not be taxable to Margaret nor deductible to Todd,” the documents stated.

The former Hewlett-Packard executive and Margaret “divided all community property assets and liabilities and accounts equally.” Further settlement discussions were concluded on the matter.

Each party paid their own legal fees and expenses. It seems that Margaret walked back her request to have Todd pay those fees when she filed divorce papers.

Todd’s earnings as Hewlett-Packard VP were disclosed

Todd declared a gross monthly income of $60,219 in his Income and Expense Declaration. Bonuses and monthly commissions were listed as $797,518. Todd’s gross income for 2009 came to over $10 million.

Further, the paperwork estimated $30,000 for Margaret’s gross monthly income. She also received “approximately $10,000,000 in cash” after Todd had a “partial division of marital assets to date.” All in all, her payout from the divorce totaled $14 million.

A Declaration of Disclosure was filed to include “jewelry gifted to [Margaret] during marriage,” as well as separate and community property.

The former couple concluded negotiations in a rather civil manner. The documents outline cooperation between the two parties. In September 2012, a San Diego judge signed off on the divorce.
