This year has started with three members of the Chrisley family behind bars at the same time thanks to Chase Chrisley. He found himself in jail after allegedly slapping a manager at Twin Peaks Sports Bar. According to the manager, Chase got a little too tipsy and didn’t want to leave.
After getting physical with the manager, the Chrisley Knows Best star was named as a suspect for simple assault. The cops arrested him, and we know it’s only a matter of time before his sister goes on her podcast to argue his innocence. Until then, we’ve got the audio from the 911 call. It’s just as messy as you could have imagined.
The slap heard ‘round Twin Peaks
The drama went down last Monday around 7:30 pm. In the 911 call obtained by TMZ, you can hear Twin Peaks manager Brandon Nash calmly trying to get help from law enforcement. He said there was a “belligerently drunk” guy refusing to leave.
Throughout the call, you could hear the drama escalating in the background. Brandon was trying to give a description to the 911 dispatcher, but he kept saying, “Do not touch me. Do not touch me.”
Meanwhile, you could hear someone, presumably Chase, in the background egging on the trouble. He was responding to Brandon, “I don’t have to touch you,” with the cadence of an annoying seven-year-old.
Somehow, Brandon continued talking to the 911 dispatcher. This clearly wasn’t his first rodeo with chaotic drunkards. He kept his cool the entire time.
“There’s a guest I’m trying to ask to leave politely. He’s being a little aggressive, and he actually assaulted me,” Brandon calmly told the 911 operator.
“I don’t want anything but for him to go,” he continued.
Then, before you know it, things went from bad to worse. According to Brandon, Chase slapped him a second time while he was on the phone with the police. You couldn’t hear the slap itself, but you could certainly hear Brandon’s reaction.
“He just slapped me in the face again,” Brandon told the 911 operator. “He’s leaving the building now, but yeah he just slapped me in the face.”
A few days later, the cops caught up with Chase and charged him with simple battery. After paying a $10,000 bond, he’s out free and roaming the streets. Supposedly, he and his sister are working on a new reality show. In the meantime, his lawyers are trying to clear his name.
“This incident has been entirely blown out of proportion,” his lawyers told TMZ. “Chase Chrisley had done the right thing that evening by calling a driver to take him home. He did not assault anyone. Chase was trying to close out his tab and leave. We will be independently investigating the situation.”
Chrisley Knows Best is streaming on Peacock.
