Season 3 of The Traitors kicked off last week, and so far, it hasn’t gone well for the Real Housewives. Spoiler alert: Half of the Housewives in the cast have already been murdered, leaving Dolores Catania as one of the last Housewives standing.
Although Season 3 has been a rough start for the Bravolebrities, Dolores says there’s much more to come in the castle. In a new interview, she teased what we can expect in the upcoming episodes. Supposedly, we won’t be “disappointed.”
Dolores didn’t have a strategy, but she did have friends
In Season 3’s first mission, Dolores and her fellow Housewives made the silly decision to sacrifice themselves for the team, leaving them all open to murder. That moment was a headscratcher, and in conversation with The Sun, Dolores admitted that she didn’t start with much of a strategy.
“I went in being not so into the game, I took it day by day, that was it. My strategy was not to have one. It did and it didn’t work out for me,” Dolores recalled.
While Dolores didn’t have a gameplay strategy, she did make friends in the house. That can go a long way in a show like this, and Dolores said she quickly gravitated toward a few people.
“All the Bravo people, I was close with Dorinda, Chanel, Robyn, and Bob from The Biggest Loser, you become very close with people,” Dolores said. “Imagine having everything taken away from you and just having those people in your life every day?”
According to Dolores, she saw filming the cutthroat competition show as a “breath of fresh air.” After having to deal with the drama of Real Housewives of New Jersey for the last few years, sussing out Traitors felt like a vacation.
Dolores said, “As hard as Traitors is and how in-depth it is, and you mentally get into the game. It was a nice break. It really was. Fans will not be disappointed. The missions are insane.”
The Traitors is streaming on Peacock with new episodes dropping on Thursdays.
