Last season, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers saw the breakdown of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s marriage. The couple later separated. Of course, Sutton Stracke was one of the first people to call out Kyle amid her marital woes. And for Season 14, not much has changed. Only this time, Sutton brought up infidelity in Kyle’s marriage.
Kyle Richards thought she and Sutton Stracke “were good friends”
During a recent episode of RHOBH, Sutton commented that Kyle “had infidelity” in her marriage. Kyle asked Sutton what she was talking about, and Sutton referenced Kyle’s remarks during the Season 13 reunion. Rumors about Mauricio cheating had taken a toll on Kyle, and she shared that she “did lose my trust.”
Plus, Mauricio was seen kissing another woman, a model named Klaudia K, in Aspen in December. And reportedly, Kyle was not a fan of his PDA.
So, Kyle and Erika Jayne broke down the drama on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: After Show. Kyle shared that she and Sutton had a conversation off-camera. “Later, she said to me, ‘I don’t know why I said that, I got so confused.’ Do I believe that was an actual accident?” Kyle commented. “Absolutely not.”
Kyle continued, “I thought that we were good friends and that we’d fixed things and now, I’m not feeling like I can really trust you at all. She already apologized to me profusely over the comments last year [in Season 13] about the ring that I had bought myself.” she added. As you may recall, Sutton and Garcelle Beauvais quizzed Kyle about why she wore a new ring instead of her wedding ring.
“And she actually apologized to Mau and Alexia [Umansky] in New York City when she bumped into them and now she does it again,” Kyle stated of Sutton. “I’m like, we’re friends. Why are you doing that?”
Then Erika weighed in on Sutton and Kyle’s friendship. “But are you? I think it’s a one-way friendship,” Erika said. “She put herself in that moment and … I won’t be sharing or trusting you like I thought I could and obviously a wall goes up for me,” Kyle said of her friendship with Sutton. It seems like this friendship is one step forward and two steps back.
