On the preview for Episode 6 of Season 10, newbie Molly O’Connell expressed her interest in veteran cast member Shep Rose. The only problem was that he was dating former Miss Bahamas Sienna Evans at the time.
With Southern Charm, it feels like the male figures are standard characters and the women are just around to tease them or not, save for Madison LeCroy. Perhaps the females included in the cast are either potential hookups or have already hooked up with one of the Southern Charm lads. Newbie Molly might be in the former category.
Molly thinks Shep Rose is “very open-minded”
“Shep is undeniably a handsome man. He’s extremely intelligent; He’s very open-minded,” she shared in a confessional during the preview. “Overall, I think Shep is definitely up there for me.”
Currently, Shep and Sienna are no longer dating.
“Technically, Shep could be her dad,” Molly joked of their relationship. “I think a lot of Southern men, they just want some young girl who is not going to question them on things. But I’m going to question everything — what were you doing? What did you do that day? Who were you talking to?”
“That’s probably why I’m single,” she added.
Molly and Shep appeared on an episode of Watch What Happens Live. The model revealed that the Southern Charm OG gave her very good advice about filming as a reality TV star.
“Shep [said] just to be authentic and be myself because people can tell when you’re not, “Molly shared.
While filming the season, Shep called Molly a “babe.” For her part, Molly did not take the statement very seriously. Meanwhile, Shep told Molly to give herself “a little more credit.”
Meanwhile, Shep was a good sport to attend Molly’s euphonium concert with the Charleston Concert band.
There’s something to be said about a man who will come to see live music, especially for a euphonium virtuoso.
