It’s early into Southern Hospitality’s third season and Emmy Sharrett came back from an epic meltdown. The main problem though, is that the drama directed at her and boyfriend Will Kulp is just beginning.
Emmy was accused of using store credit to buy work uniforms and pocketing the money. Now, Emmy is responding.
Emmy Sharrett called the accusation of pocketing cash “completely out of left field”
Entertainment Tonight had a conversation with Emmy to touch on all the drama thus far.
Unsurprisingly, the first question addressed Emmy’s breakdown at work after the accusation of stealing was made.
“I think if I wasn’t at work when I had my breakdown, I’d be very valid in how I acted. I think, for context, I was really sick with strep throat. I was up until three in the morning that night with Will taking care of me. He had given me like two Nyquil at three in the morning. And then, you can imagine, Nyquil lasts twelve hours, so I was a little loopy and not feeling good,” Emmy said.
She continued, “At that point, I’m sick. I’m pissed off. And I just see red, then kinda lose it because these are girls that I love and that I value. And, you know, I’ve always put them before me and put them first.”
Emmy was surprised to be confronted by Sioban because she’s “never had a problem with her,” and felt the conversation “completely out of left field.” Ultimately, it was “highly inappropriate,” given the timing. Rather, the Southern Hospitality veteran would have preferred the conversation “when we’re not on the clock.”
Emmy denies that Will cheated on her
Molly and Sioban then filmed a conversation commenting on Emmy and Will’s relationship. The Bravolebrity called her costars “mean” and “wrong.”
“Now they’re gonna try and reel it back and look good by pretending to give a sh*t about my relationship and my feelings. They don’t. I think that’s just a cover-up to be like ‘Oh shoot, I kinda look like a bully I’m gonna reel it back by pretending I care about Emmy’s feelings,'” she explained.
Indeed, the Season 3 trailer teased an explosive accusation of Will cheating on Emmy at law school. However, Emmy is secure in her relationship.
“Never,” she answered. “I don’t care about the status about being a lawyer’s wife. If I wanted to be a lawyer’s wife, I’d be dating a lawyer.”
I take no sh*t. I know Will like the back of my hand. And that man, he’s never cheated on me. He’s many things, but a cheater’s not one of them,” Emmy added.
Emmy finds group discussions about her relationship “inappropriate”
Cheating rumors aside, there was quite a bit of talk about Will needing to be more supportive of his girlfriend. He also supposedly trash-talked Emmy during a tipsy night at her place of work.
“Will did talk about me behind my back that is true. I think though, the way you’re gonna see my cast mates portray the conversation and all those words that they choose to use it incredibly extreme, and incredibly out of context,” Emmy shared.
The drama will brew over at a cast trip to Lake Rucker’s house. At one point in the episode clip, Emmy storms off from the table.
“I don’t give a sh*t about half these people at this table who all have an opinion about my relationship. I’m not going to sit around and talk about it,” Emmy reacted.
Further, she suggested that “anywhere there’s an audience, is inappropriate in my opinion.”
But the relationship is going strong, months after filming the season. Emmy gushed that she and Will “are genuinely great.”
“Will is my best friend. I’m very happy with Will right now,” she said.
