Season 18 of The Real Housewives of Orange County was rough for Shannon Beador. She weathered the fallout from her DUI. Plus, Alexis Bellino returned to the series after being off the show for nine seasons. What really upset Shannon was the fact that Alexis was dating Shannon’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen. Then John sued Shannon for $75,000, claiming that he lent her the money for a facelift. According to Shannon, the cash was a gift. Plus, in Shannon’s mind, Alexis was enemy number one.

Meanwhile, Shannon made it clear that she had no intention of filming with Alexis. “I’ve never said I’m not coming back,” Shannon stated. “Oh, absolutely I am [returning]. But if Alexis Bellino comes back, sorry, not gonna be around [her].”
After Alexis and Shannon feuded during Season 18, Alexis was not asked back. Shocker! “It was a little bit of a relief,” Alexis stated. “I mean nobody wants the rejection, and no one wants to [hear] you’re not asked back.”
However, Shannon saw an opportunity to throw some shade at Alexis, and she couldn’t pass up the chance. Recently, Shannon was asked about Alexis’ RHOC exit.
“I have zero power with the network or production or anyone,” she told US Weekly, “and I would never want to interfere with someone’s livelihood.” Shannon added, “But, Alexis Bellino is a TV star, and she’s been a TV star for 15 years, so I’m sure she’ll get a new gig sometime very soon.”
As you may recall, Alexis mentioned how her lengthy television career at the Season 18 reunion. Burn!
Shannon continued, “I spent a lot of time over the holidays reflecting on where I had been the year before. I was at a place where I [had] just seen [John give Alexis] a promise ring on social media, and I didn’t know who was going to be coming back to the show.” The RHOC star added, “I have a lot of work to do, and I’m grateful for all that happened in the last year because it brought me to where I am today.”
