The actor, who welcomed his first child with Suki Waterhouse in 2024, has not held back from sharing the joys of becoming a dad. The actor has now opened up about his obsession with his daughter’s scent during a recent interview with Vogue.

During an interview with Vogue, Robert Pattinson candidly spoke about his obsession with his daughter’s scent. The actor said, “I remember people used to be like ‘oh, don’t you like the smell of babies, but I thought they were just smelling the baby powder.” Pattinson continued, “But then I had a baby, and I was like ‘my baby smells incredible.’” The new dad added, “There’s something there, I can identify her.” Pattinson also noted that his and Suki Waterhouse’s daughter “doesn’t smell like other babies.”
Last year, Pattinson also gushed over his baby girl after welcoming her, reported USA Today. The star said, “She’s so cute. You know, I’m amazed by how quickly their personality comes.” He also added, “So even at three months, I’m like, ‘Oh, I can kinda see who she is already.’ It’s great.”
Waterhouse announced the birth of her and Pattinson’s first child in 2024 via an Instagram post. She penned in the caption, “welcome to the world angel.” The couple has been enjoying the precious moments of parenthood since then.
Last year, in December, Waterhouse also revealed her favorite part of parenting with her longtime partner, Pattinson, on TODAY. The artist said, “Favorite moments of parenting… ah, I think just like getting the baby.”
Waterhouse continued, “We have like, a routine of putting her in the swimming pool and jumping in and out of the pool.” She added, “That’s just always the most fun, like, end of the day, 5 p.m., we all get in the pool and be silly.” Waterhouse then said that it was “amazing.”
