As if Los Angeles area residents didn’t have enough to worry about with the devastating wildfires, now, they also have to worry about the return of those pesky high-end burglars. Their latest victims were Selling Sunset stars Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet. Fortunately, the Netflix stars are safe, but a bunch of their belongings aren’t. They just lost a significant amount of stuff, and they’re hoping the cops can do something about it.
Ransacked on Sunset
The news of the latest Los Angeles robbery was first reported by TMZ. According to their law enforcement sources, the Selling Sunset stars were “targeted” by burglars. It’s a plot we’ve seen a few too many times with other reality personalities, including Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars Dorit Kemsley and Kyle Richards.
According to the cops, the thieves made their way into the house through an unlocked door. You know Mary and Romain are probably kicking themselves for leaving their door unlocked, but thankfully, they weren’t home when the thieves struck.
Allegedly, the robbers went in and completely ransacked the place. They got purses, jewelry, and everything in between. The estimated loss came out to over $130,000, which is a pretty mind-blowing.
The news of this burglary comes days after Mary caught flack on Instagram for an semi-insensitive post. While most Los Angelenos were posting about the fires, she was whining on her Stories about getting bumped from first class on an American Airlines flight. Although Selling Sunset fans haven’t been on Mary’s side this last week, we’re wishing her and Romain the best as they recover from the scary experience. The suspects remain at-large, but the couple has footage of them on their security cameras. Hopefully the footage can help solve this.
