Brynn Whitfield Reflects on RHONY Season 15: ‘Weird Energy From the Very First Scene’

Real Housewives of New York Season 15 has come to an end, with a reunion fast approaching. The season was a bit of a mixed bag. As it turns out, even Brynn Whitfield could sense the vibes were off during RHONY Season 15.

For those who missed the finale, Brynn’s feud with Ubah Hassan came to a head when Ubah accused her of getting on the show via sexual favors. Jenna Lyons said the finale was “devastating” – an apt description for sure.

Still, Jenna saw Brynn’s follies throughout the season too. In the Season 15 reunion trailer, Jenna seemed all too fed up with Brynn, telling her to “stop talking.” So, what does Brynn have to say for herself?

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Brynn reflected on Season 15 post-finale. She spoke on her castmates saying they felt she took advantage of them. “That was shocking,” she said. “You’re telling me that in the three minutes from when I’m called horrible names [by Ubah] and I’m obviously upset that I somehow devised a plan?”

“It’s disgusting that I’m talking about two things that I would hope that no woman or person would have to experience — suicide and sexual assault — and everyone’s like, ‘Brynn, we feel taken advantage of.’ Maybe don’t use those words to describe the situation. I just feel like I wasn’t shown much [respect].”

Brynn said she felt she was being attacked “the whole season.” She explained, “I would go into filming a lot of the time and I would feel dread and despair. I was just like, every single thing is going to turn into something. It was weird energy from the very first scene.”

She further claimed that her castmates’ texts were incongruous with their behavior. “It was a 180,” she said. Allegedly, other Bravolebrities warned her that her co-stars would “come for [her]” after her “great first season.”

The Real Housewives of New York Season 15 Reunion begins Tuesday, January 28, at 9/8c on Bravo.
